Hero Dementia Care Action: Supporting Elderly and Dementia Community

The pandemic and community activity restrictions (PPKM) have affected the health of senior citizens, especially those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Hero Supermarket is the first elderly and dementia-friendly supermarket in Indonesia, committed to provide a comfortable shopping experience for senior citizens and dementia community. In celebration of Hero Supermarket’s 50th anniversary, HERO and Alzheimer Indonesia collaborated to educate people and spread knowledge about the importance of knowing the early symptoms of dementia and Alzheimer’s. Hero Supermarket also launched an infographic and e-booklet called “Kenali 10 Gejala Umum Demensia Alzheimer” to help raise awareness.
