Hero Green Fest

In support of our Sustainability Month, HERO Group held a three-day Hero Green Fest, “Green Lifestyle, Starts from You”, to promote sustainable practices and well-balanced lifestyles.

Hero Green Fest kicked off with a recycling challenge where team members competed for the most points by recycling the most waste, such as plastics, glass bottles, aluminium cans, and so on. Our team members were able to learn more about waste management at our We Are Hero Talk, where representatives from environmental organisations FoodCycle, Nutrifood and eRecycle.id shared more insights and practices.

To reduce our carbon footprint and lead a healthy lifestyle, team members walked the talk by cycling to work, and some gathered for a morning exercise and a healthy fruit breakfast. The second day was wrapped up with a Green Workshop, with our environmental partner Duitin sharing their experiences in waste sorting. Our efforts to make our office greener continued on the last day as team members, leaders and representatives from all banners gathered for a tree-planting activity.

Through Hero Green Fest, we hoped the activities raised awareness of the importance of a green environment and guided our team members to lead a sustainable lifestyle.
