WAVE is Back to Help Cianjur

The unfortunate earthquake that happened in Cianjur on Monday, November 21st, 2022, caused a lot of damage and loss to its people. To support the victims, PT Hero Supermarket Tbk (HERO Group) donated thousands of products from its business units: Hero Supermarket, Guardian, and IKEA. Products include bedding kits, hygiene kits, dignity kits, and food & healthy kits. President Director of PT Hero Supermarket Tbk, Patrik Lindvall and representatives from Board of Director (BOD) Naresh Kumar Kalani, Hadrianus Wahyu Trikusumo and Alfredo Chandra, together with 13 WAVE volunteers helped packed the donation goods on November 30th, 2022.

Not only from the business units, but the donation goods also came from the kindness of our Team Members. Donations include wearable clothes, dry food, shoes, and kids’ toys. The donation distribution is supported by the humanitarian organization, Human Initiative. The truck flag-off ceremony that will bring all items to disaster location was held on December 2nd, 2022 and attended by representatives from the Board of Directors of HERO Group with media.
